Despite closing the voting period early, no one can stop the fans of SNSD from being voted by Asian Netizens as the Best Girl Group in Asia. SNSD/Girls Generation is a South Korean girlgroup which is composed of Nine members namely, Yoona, Tiffany, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Taeyeon, Jessica and Sunny. Early this year they perfomed a new song called Show, Show, Show. And yes the SM Management confired that they would be back in February 2010 for another new album to be released soon. SNSD is not just famous in singing but they are great endorsers as well. Since their popular album Girls Generation has been released, no one can stop the popularity of this girl group. TV appearances, endorsements, and acting here and there, they will surely remain in the entertainment industry for a longer time.

And in second place, is the group 2ne1 which pronounced as twenty-one and is created by Yahoo Group. They are considered as the female version of another famous boyband Bigbang. During their 2009 debut album, the song Lollipop which has been featured for LG cyon phone, made quite an impact and even became a number 1 hit in the chart. With even plagiarism controversy with the group they can’t stop their rise to fame!.

The third spot goes to the wondergirls. This group is again from South Korea. The girls have scored 3 consecutives number 1 single such as Tell Me, So Hot and Nobody. They began their entry in American market late 2009 with “Nobody” and has been the first Korean artist to enter Billboard Hot 100. Nobody Nobody has been used as a title of a movie in Metro Manila Film Festival and is considered a favorite song during Christmas parties of different government agencies and private parties in the Philippines.
